What we collect, and don’t.
liori is built on the belief that the most useful AI agents are the ones you can trust. That means being clear about what we do with your data.
We don’t train on your data. Ever. Your conversation with your Emissary is not used to improve any model — ours, ours-via-a-vendor, anyone’s. We mean it.
What we collect: the email you give us when you join the waitlist; the city, age range, and free-text answers you optionally provide; basic page analytics (pageviews, scroll depth — no fingerprinting, no cookies).
What we never collect: your contact list, your location, your photos until you upload one, anything from third-party trackers we don’t run.
When you onboard with your Emissary, the conversation lives in your account, not in any analytics pipeline. You can read it, export it, or delete it from your account at any time. Deleting your account deletes everything we have about you.
Where data lives: Supabase (Postgres) in the EU. Email goes through Resend. Analytics through Plausible (privacy-respecting, no PII).
Captured selfies and safety: When you grant a photo to a match, we run it through an image-moderation endpoint to catch unsafe content before the other person ever sees it. The endpoint we use today is OpenAI’s; the photo is sent over a short-lived signed URL, isn’t kept on their side, and isn’t used for training. We delete every selfie within 24 hours regardless.
Questions: hi@liori.app. A real human reads it.
