Terms
The deal between us.
liori is an invite-only service that uses AI agents (“Emissaries”) to introduce people who might want to meet. By joining the waitlist or using the product, you’re agreeing to what’s on this page and on our privacy page. We’ve kept both short on purpose.
You need to be 18 or older. liori is for adults. When you sign up you’re telling us you’re at least 18. If we find out you’re not, we remove your account.
Be who you say you are.Use your real first name. Don’t pretend to be someone else, don’t use a photo of someone else, don’t open accounts on behalf of others. The whole product depends on people showing up honestly.
Treat people well. No harassment, no threats, no hate, no sexual content involving minors, no using liori to recruit, scam, or sell. If someone is uncomfortable enough to flag your behaviour, we take that seriously and we may remove your account without warning.
Meeting in person is your call. Your Emissary opens the door; whether you walk through it is up to you. We don’t verify identities beyond the live photo capture, we’re not your chaperone, and we can’t be responsible for what happens at a meet. Pick public places, tell a friend, trust your gut.
Your conversation, your data. You own what you tell your Emissary. We use it to find matches and write introductions on your behalf — nothing else. We don’t train models on it. Details of what we collect and how to export or delete it are on the privacy page.
We can change or stop the service. liori is early. We may change features, pause matching, or shut things down. If we shut down for good, we’ll give you a way to export your data first.
We can suspend or remove your account. Mostly we’ll talk to you first, but we won’t in cases of serious harm or repeated bad behaviour. You can also delete your own account any time from settings.
No warranty. The service is provided as-is. We work hard on it but we can’t guarantee that you’ll meet anyone, that the AI will write something you love, or that everything will always work. To the extent the law allows, our liability for anything that goes wrong is limited to whatever you’ve paid us — which today is nothing.
Where this is decided. These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. If we can’t sort something out between us, the courts of Amsterdam have jurisdiction.
